Hashtag have their Spotlight event going on at the moment.  I picked up this little Grecian themed dress along with two other for L$5.  There are some FREE gifts at the event, but most cost a few lindens or so.

While only in standard rigged sizes, this is a very nice dress, and fits Lara really well.

I usually don’t mention locations in my posts, but my shoot location is well worth seeing.  It’s a full sim done as a modern Greece island, and the creator has done a fantastic job.  I recommend that you have a look at it for photo opportunities!

Today I’m showing you the July group gift from Ana Markova.  Most of Ana’s past group gifts are all available at her in-world store, and while the group is L$100 to join, a single outfit like this makes it very much worth it!  And there are over 30 gifts available, with a few for SLF&O too!

The top and skirt are separates so can be worn independently.  There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, Hourglass, and Lara.  There are no classic sizes.

As usual with Ana’s work, the texturing is superb.  The shine on the skirt, while only a texture highlight (not materials) is really convincing!  I love her work, and I own quite a few outfits by her.  If you’ve never checked out her store, it’s very much worth your time if you’re after that sophisticated look.

There are genres and niches in SL that I have no desire to explore, but then again, that’s the attraction of SL for some people; you can be and do things in SL that people feel inhibited to do in RL.  One of those areas, at least for me, is BDSM.  I like my relationships in either life to be on an equal footing, with both partners sharing and cooperating to make things work.  Domination and submission, and certainly sadism and masochism, are things that I can’t imagine, even in SL.

Having made that clear, here’s a BDSM outfit I picked up because of its sheer quality,

The outfit is the current group gift at The Bare Naked Lady Clothing Store, and is FREE on group join (the group is also FREE).  It comes in sizes for Freya, Venus, Isis, Lara, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, and it also included classic sizes in fitmesh.  The mask, hair, crop, flogger, and boots are all included.  I must say I love the hairstyle and will certainly find other uses for that, and the bodysuit too!

As you can see, the bodysuit is fully materials enabled and shines brilliantly as the light catches it.  I’m sure it will get a run at a leather and latex event 😉

I was very happy to discover the other day that Black Swan, a favorite lingerie creator, has reopened a store in-world!  This outfit was a win from one of the the three lucky letter boards (group required, but it’s FREE) located at the store.

I’ve always thought that this creator was one of the best at doing layer clothing, and this is no exception.  There are appliers for Slink, Maitreya, TMP, and Omega, and well as standard system layers.  And looking around the new store, there are mesh items available too!

I think the store is certainly worth a look!  Why not run over there now?!

The top is in classic sizes, plus fitmesh for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Lara, and TMP.

Today I’m showing you a nice mesh gown.  At first blush it looks like any other of a number of mesh gowns but…

…it comes in fitmesh sizes!  Yay!  Included are classic sizes and fitmesh sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Lara, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP.

Not only that, it comes with a texture HUD with four patterned textures in soft pastels, and two solid colors, red, and the black I’m wearing.  And the creator has got the shine right!  Wooohooo!  This actually looks great, not too shiny, it looks perfectly satiny 🙂

Paper Moon Cloak

There are a lot of events happening at the moment for Halloween.  One of them is Trick or Treat Lane, which has a bunch of FREE gifties if you join their group.

This cloak comes in versions for guys and girls, and it’s something I’ve wished I had for ages to do cover-ups of contest outfits 🙂

It’s only in classic mesh sizes, but this hardly matters when you alpha out your entire body.

A friend of ours doesn’t like spiders.  I think I’ll wear this to Eden’s second Halloween party on November 4th just to freak her out 😉

The outfit is fitmesh for Lara only and it comes with the boots, hat, and the two spiders.  It’s really wonderful, with the exception of the big spider, which is just attached.  If it was fitmesh ohhh it would be perfect!

In each pose I’ve moved the spider so it looks centered.  Dancing with this might be a little… interesting 🙂

Some demonic tattoos, black makeup, and high boots complete the outfit!

I’m not sure I like posting outfits before an event, I try and keep them fairly secret, but these days I’m usually doing police work on the sim watching that out-of-theme people are not trying to jump on the contest board, I tend to stay out of the contest myself, so not to worry.

Here’s my outfit for Eden‘s upcoming scary Halloween party…

As you can probably guess, this is a full mesh avatar, and it includes the clothes and hair, so in effect it’s a one party outfit (although I’ll keep it and reuse in a couple of years time hehe).

The avi comes with a full body alpha and a shape, and you just wear those with the avi.  It’s quite well rigged and follows my AO and dances perfectly.

The out-of-the box avi just has blank eyesockets, which is truly creepy.  But I decided I’d add some mesh demon eyes to make it a little more human, if still quite (un)dead!
