First up this month, we have this fantastic fitmesh lingerie from Glitzz. It comes in grey and turquoise (one at midnight, one at midday, you get the idea) and in sizes for eBody, Hourglass, Physique, and Lara.
The top and bottom are separates. The texturing is nice but not fantastic, but oh the fit is really nice!

This is a truly awesomely textured suit with brilliant use of materials. The gold glitters beautifully as you move. It’s only in one size with I suspect is for Lara, although it might be one size fits all fitmesh. Whatever it is, it fits my shape perfectly.
The folds in the fabric are nice too, although I would have preferred a smoother fit, but all the surfaces add to the glitter. Lovely work!

They come in classic rigged mesh sizes, plus fitmesh for Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Lara, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The little triangle cutouts are cute cute 🙂
I also got around to unpacking some new poses too. These are really nice and not your typical fashion poses.
Put simply, these are the best pair of leather pants I’ve ever seen in SL.
The pants and top are separate and come in classic mesh sizes, plus fitmesh for Curvy, Fine, Lara, Isis, Venus, Freya, EBody, Oscacis, and TMP.
The use of materials on the pants gives them a wonderful polished leather look, that changes subtly as you move. When you take into account the fabric detailing and the fit, they are the best!
I don’t know what to do with this top, it’s too pony BDSM for me! But I wanted to show it to you as the craftsmanship is awesome.
Sizes include fits for Freya, Isis, Lara, Physique, and Hourglass.
The texturing and modeling are super! Look at the stitching, and the textures on the leather. This is excellent work! This was a free gift from an event, and it includes a HUD to change the texture on the rings. It’s also available in other colors from the store.

This little sweater dress is perfect for the season, and was a gift on day one of the calendars. I love the overly long sleeves! You can be sure I’ll be showing you more as the month goes on, but don’t wait for me to show you them! Run out and get them for yourselves!

Having just got my new mesh face, I’m rather lacking in the makeup department. I went looking for something with a palette that included purple and my usual neutral, but I came across an Omega applier that promised 216 colors. There was no demo but as it was only L$10 I said “What the hey?” and bought it. It turned out to be a color picker/applier, which is a really awesome idea! Unfortunately, the texture is not the best, and it shows up a little around the edge of the alpha area on my face’s cheeks. So I had to retouch. Not something I can use for walking around, but certainly a good lipstick for the studio!

I’ve been watching the revolution in Bento with keen interest. Slink and Maitreya Bento enabled hands are fantastic (I have both), and some of the wings available? Oh my!
Ever since Bento was released and offered us the opportunity to shape a mesh face how we wanted it, I’ve been keen to get one (to be honest, mainly so my eyelashes look right! lol) Over the last few months, I must have tried twenty different demos from creators such as Catwa, Laq, AK, and GA.EG, but I couldn’t find one that I could shape so I would still look like myself. My biggest problem was I couldn’t get my eyes right.
However, two weeks ago, GA.EG released a new model called Jennifer, and Aeon pointed it out to me as she has Barbara from the same creator, and saw the announcement. Within 20 minutes of working with the demo, I had a very good feeling that this was going to be the one for me!
Working with the demos, most creators recommend you start with the included shape, so the first thing I did was copy their demo shape, and set every slider except the ones to do with the face to my measurements.
Then I created this evil looking device…
This is actually a pose stand (the base is out of the picture below). While I posed on it in my normal system shape, I adjusted all the little cones so they would touch strategic parts of my face. Then I changed to the mesh face and shape, and started playing.
Here’s a picture so you get the idea…
This turned out to be a huge time saver as I could look at a demo, pose on this, adjust some sliders, and know nearly instantly if the demo had any hope at all of matching my system face. Not only that, it got me close enough to where I wanted things to be that I could then take a photo on a normal pose stand and without moving the camera, change to the demo. take another photo, and then do a comparison in Gimp. I did comparison photos from both the front and the side. Hundreds of them 🙂
While I’m still playing around a tiny bit, especially with the eyes and eyebrows, I got close enough with Jennifer that I pulled the trigger and bought it. Here’s a before and after picture. How do you think I did?

And also, I’m very excited to show off my new mesh face from GA.EG! After months of looking and trying lots and lots of demos and adjusting sliders, I’ve finally found something that I’m happy with! I’ll do a follow-up post with how I got it to look like my system face, and include some before and after shots so you can see how close I got!
