This corset style strapped dress was a hunt item from the Womenstuff Hunt this year, and I’m finally getting around to showing it to you three months later!  That’s what happens with 100 stop hunts lol

The dress comes in standard mesh sizes plus body specific fitmesh for classic, Lara, Isis, Venus, Freya, eBody, Physique, Hourglass, TMP, Ocacin, Curvy, and Fine.

I’ve chosen to wear a hairstyle I’ve not shown off before too.  While I love my red hair, there are some colors I just can’t wear with it, and this is one of them 🙂

Today I’m showing you a group gift from NyDesign.  The NyDesign group is FREE to join.

The outfit consists of the top, panties, and pasties in fitmesh for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, and Hourglass.

The top in particular is really well done, with nice materials on the chains that really glitters under lights.  These pictures don’t really do it justice, but I can promise you it’s eye-catching!

The outfit comes with a three texture HUD that allows you to texture each piece separately.

A really quick post for you before I rush off to RL today.

The top and pants are separates and come in sizes for Lara, Curvy, Fine, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, Hourglass, TMP, and standard classic sizes.

The texturing is really nice, and the fit is good too.  These were available on the Glam or Grunge Hunt, that has finished (should have posted earlier Blue).

If you’re into such things, this dress is the ultimate wear for a wet teeshirt competition, although I think the idea would be to wear your hair at the back 🙂

This dress comes in classic mesh sizes, plus fitmesh for classic avis and body specific fits for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Curvy, and Fine.

While this is fitmesh, there are some clipping issues around the thighs (maybe I should eat a salad?) and as the dress is so transparent, you can’t employ alphas to hide them.

Osiris

Not only is Osiris the ancient Egyptian God of the Dead and ruler of the Underworld, but he was also the god of resurrection and fertility.  Talk about lots of responsibility!

This dress is a group gift from Canimal, which is FREE to join.  The dress only comes in fitmesh for Lara, and being named for Osiris, must be in black (but it does come with an eleven color texture HUD hehe).

There are a couple of minor clipping issues with the collar, but most won’t be noticeable dancing, which is what I’m intending to do in this outfit today!

I’ve gone dotty!

These super fun stockings with their lacy trims and dots are a group gift from MAAI.  MAAI is FREE to join!

The stockings are for Lara only, and come only in a high pose (you don’t need to wear your feet).  They have a 17 texture HUD with lots and lots of dots 🙂

Baileys Norge

There are some sim builders who just get it right.  I’m always impressed by realism in SL, and Baileys Norge has it in spades.

I only had a short time to take these photos, so I cammed rather than walked to the locations.  I will certainly be going back for a closer look in the coming days.

The attention to detail is really noticeable, including touches like mist over the water.  On our land I wanted a light beam through the trees (aka a “God ray”).  But I didn’t want it static, I wanted it to track the sun (I eventually wrote the script for this after a lot of experimentation, as I was just learning the capabilities of LSL at the time).  Features like the mist on the water make me think things like “How can I script it so the mist appears to burn off when the sun rises?” 😉

Dark magic

Today I was setting up for an event later in the week where the theme is light and dark fairy.  I chose dark as I have a better selection of goth things than happy fairy things, and while you’ve probably seen most of these items before in various posts, this is a new combination.

If I remember correctly, I purchased this wonderful skin from Lumae for a similar event over a year ago.  The skin comes with these fabulous ears in three sizes that match the skin perfectly.

The dress is Lara fitmesh, and there are Slink versions of it as well.  I’ve posted full details in the blog before.  Once I had the dress, I started searching for other bits and pieces to fill out the look.  The lace bottom of the dress is nice, but I sort of wanted something even more tattered looking.  Surprisingly, a tattoo achieved nearly exactly what I had in mind, and when viewed from a distance, the tattoo seems to blend into the dress.

There are a lot of appliers and HUDs going on behind the scenes here!  I thought I’d show you a screenshot with most of them attached so you can see just how complex this outfit is 🙂  There are HUDs for body and head skins, wing control, my Lara and GA.EG control HUDs, the top, bottom, and feet tattoos, nails, lipstick, eye makeup, and Omega relays OMG 🙂  I haven’t bothered showing the HUD for the hairstyle.   All in all, I think there are 15 HUDs involved!  The list below is going to be long!

Ripper ripped

A little while I showed you the best leather pants I’ve ever seen in SL.  Today, I present the best ripped jeans I’ve ever seen 🙂

These jeans are available at Kustom9 (open until 10th April), and are available in dark blue, light blue (shown), washed blue, gray, and black.  They are L$279 each color, and worth every dollar of it.  The detailing in staggeringly good, with broken strings and tufts sticking out at all the edges.

The jeans are in fitmesh only for Lara, Freya, Isis, and Hourglass.  If you have one of these bods, I highly recommend you scrape the money together and grab them.  They are sure to be one of your go-to jeans forever!

This pretty little dress is one of three from Azul in March.  The other two gifts are the same dress in different colors.  Perhaps Azul needs a scripter to write them a texture change HUD? 🙂
