This is an old outfit I did for an event ages ago.
The jacket comes in standard mesh sizes, and it also comes in two versions, this one with white sleeves, and a version with black sleeves. Go! Whatever the animal mascot for Second Life Uni is! Go! lol
Cats in catsuits?! I got this catsuit for the kemono bod from marketplace with a specific reason in mind, which you’ll see if you keep scrolling!
The suit comes in sizes for default, Rei, and Busty Torso, and a set of full perm textures is included. Also included is a texture HUD that lets you colorize any of the five faces on the suit. As it is, it’s pretty nice, and could be used in a number of scenarios without any mods, including in an SF styled sim for example. The normal and specular textures are really well done.
And here we have why I wanted it. Recently I’ve been playing some capture roleplay in a jungle, and do you think camouflage might help some? I’m betting it will! This photo was taken with just a local texture to get an idea how it would look. I’ll do a custom texture with more careful edge matching for the camo when I get a little spare time. As it is, even without edge matching, it looks pretty good!
It’s winter, so a sweater dress is just the thing! This is in sizes for all major mesh bods. Although this is Lara fitmesh, it does have a clipping problem around the hem with the legs. But as it was a freebie, I can never complain too much!
We had a 70’s soul music thing at Eden yesterday, and this is what I put together to wear to the event!
I’m not going to detail sizes for you today, as I got both the shirt and jeans quite some time ago, but as they are both Lara fitmesh, you can probably guess the other sizes available.
Unlike Jazzy’s outfit yesterday, the jeans clip the shirt in one tiny location on the left hip, but I’d challenge anyone to notice this and call it out, even dancing.
And the hair, OMG! I got this at this year’s Hair Fair and promptly filed it in my “Misc/Weird” hair folder, thinking I’d never have a reason to wear it. But does it work well with a 70’s look? You bet it does 🙂
Christmas is getting close. I’m resisting doing Advent calendars this year as I still have unopened stuff from last year, if you can believe that!
This outfit was a gift from the Shop Till You Drop event in December last year (OMG inventory cleanout time, am I right?) The skirt and tank top are one piece, with the jacket separate. Most sizes are covered. The tights are included as system layers and appliers.
There’s also a Santa hat and curly toed boots, but it’s not that close to Christmas yet 🙂

And another prior one, this time a hunt item from Brii Underground. I told you about these L$6 hunt items! How worth it were they?
Rather funny, we did a grunge thing a couple of weeks ago, and this would have just been perfect for it 🙂
But I unpacked it too late as you can see. It has the shirt and shorts as one piece, in all the usual sizes. The bra and socks are included as system layers, plus Maitreya, Slink, and Omega appliers. And you get the boots as well!
It also has a Catwa makeup, but as usual, it’s hardly a great look for a redhead, so I’m not wearing it. But for L$6, don’t you think, a bargain? Yes!
This is a prior group gift from Julia’s Scandal. The group is FREE to join and there are a bunch of prior group gifts available.
The top and skirt are one piece and come in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Hourglass, and Physique.
The outfit also comes with a three color HUD that lets you texture the top and skirt separately. The wrinkles in the skirt are nicely done, as is the attention to detail on the seams.
Even after four and a half years in SL, sometimes an event comes up that requires clothing you either just don’t have, or what you have, you’re not happy with. Yesterday at Eden, we had a best in gothic look contest, and while I had something picked out from my outfits list to wear to the event, it didn’t have a skin applier for my mesh head (which I’ve grown rather attached to 🙂 ) so I couldn’t update the outfit to include my head. So, right at the last minute, I though “I wonder if I can do a goth kemono?”
I found this wonderful little lace trimmed dress on marketplace for only L$149, so I grabbed it, and then sort of struggled with skin and head appliers for the kemono too, until I remembered the MicroMeow 🙂
This dress is only for the Busty fitted torso from Starbright, but as usual with kemono clothing, comes with both UV and AO maps and it’s modify, so you can make your own textures for it.
I paired it with the standard kemono gloves and boots, and for the event I wore the hair that comes with the MicroMeow. But I found this hair that suits the gothic look even better for the photo shoot!
And as a bonus, the dress comes material enabled too!
I think this is a first for the blog, showing you a building that’s been languishing in my inventory for a couple of months. This 20 LI skybox is really well done, and I got it for FREE via the PocketShop HUD (which now seems to not be working, however the skybox creator has at least one other FREE building, so if you like this look of this one and the price, be sure to check them out!)
The building is done in mostly mesh with a couple of prims to do the scenery out the window. The textures are baked on, but everything is modify so you could easily repaint if brick is not to your liking. And being a skybox, there is no door, so you’ll need a teleporter.
Having said all that, it’s a great little skybox for a small shop or a secluded getaway spot!
