1500 posts!

That’s right, since September 25th 2015 when we put up Aeon’s article Getting started in Second Life that began its history as a notecard to hand to new girls at Eden, right up to this post number 1500!  We may have been slow some days getting a post up, and other days we’ve doubled up on posts as one of us got the scheduling wrong, but we’re pretty proud of the fact that here we are nearly four years after the start of the blog, and we haven’t missed a day!

So, happy 1500th post to us!  I picked out some of my favorite photos looking back at all the ones we’ve done.  I hope this takes you on a little journey back through time, just like it did me when I put it together.

Corset

After my cleavage post the other day (nsfw) I thought I’d show you what you should use major cleavage options for.  Corsets and tight bodice gowns look right with cleavage, just as bare breasted looks wrong with cleavage.  Think about what you’re virtually wearing so you can get it right, and not look silly 🙂

This corset is in standard sizes plus fitmesh for Lara, Venus, Isis, Freya, Hourglass, and Physique, and it comes with an two eight color HUDs to let you change the panel, sides, and binding colors separately.  The first HUD is plains, and the second is damask and mosaic patterns.

There are so many gifts at the SLB16 shopping event, I’m going to run out of days of the event before I run out of things to show you!  The event runs through the 8th of July, so I hope you’ve all run over there to grab them!

This is a really nicely done dress, the texture and fit are excellent.

Another wonderful gift from the SLB16 shopping event today.  This is by Silvan Moon, who sponsor Aeon, so she’ll probably kill me for posting this one lol

This boho style full length dress is lovely (yes, it’s in one of my fav colors, so I’m biased).  It comes in sizes for classic avatars, and fitmesh for Lara, Venus, and Physique.

Also included is a headband, but I chose not to wear it as it wouldn’t sit well with my hairstyle 🙂

Of course I have another item from the SLB16 shopping event to show you.  There are around 100 gifties on offer free for everyone, so make sure you don’t miss out.  SL’s birthday celebrations run through until the 8th of July.

This bikini and coverup comes in five different patterns, each in its own box.  Lots of unpacking of nested boxed required lol.  I’m just showing you one color combination here, as the bikini and dress are the same in each.

The bikini top, bottoms, and the dress are all separates.  They come in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, and Physique.   The bottoms are a tiny bit loose, but a lovely free giftie just the same!

Not big surprise, here are some more gifts from the SLB16 shopping event 🙂

Both my hairstyle and the dress are available at the event as free gifts.  The dress comes in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, and Venus.

And obviously, No Match has been watching recent fashion trends!  This long hairstyle with the scarf wrap is just fantastic.  It’s a fatpack, so no matter your color, you’re covered.  There are nine colors each for black, brown, blonde, and of course, red.  There is also two addition HUDs for ombres and unicorns!  It even includes all the hairbases as appliers for Catwa, Lelutka, TMP, and Omega.  There is even a male version included.

The scarf is settable via a HUD to 24 colors, 12 plains and 12 summer prints.  What a fabulous gift!

Pride month

Today I’m showing you Blueberry’s gifties from the SLB16 shopping event.  In case you didn’t know, it’s also Pride Month, so the rainbow colors are a perfect gift!

The shorts and top are separates.  The top also comes in two “wet” versions with a HUD to change bra colors to one of 28 colors, or to hide the bra completely.  Both pieces are sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, and Hourglass.

Also, if you’re a Blueberry group member, you can pick up L$250 store credit while you’re at the event simply by clicking on the sign at the booth!  As the group is FREE to join, this is a complete steal!

The shorts also come with a three color HUD.  And in case you didn’t think the rainbow theme continued on to the shorts… love is love 🙂
