If you’re a member of Blueberry’s group, you’re soo in luck! For Black Friday, Blueberry handed out a L$300 gift certificate to all her group members! If you missed it, be sure to check in the group notices for it. And if you hurry, most of the store is 50% off! Here’s what I picked up with my gift card.
The top, skirt with panties, and belt are all separate items. Each of them comes sized for Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Physique, Hourglass, and a one-size-fits-all for classic avatars. This seems to only be available as a fatpack, and comes with a massive HUD with numerous options to change the top, top fringes, and seashells, the skirt denim, panties, and buttons, and the belt and beads, all separately!
For L$375 (which is 50% off) it’s a fantastic buy and as usual from Blueberry, the quality is excellent!
This dress and hat combo comes with hair styles in various natural shades to fit the hat, which is very rare for a hunt item like this. However, with no messing around, this hat was sized perfectly for my usual hair style, so if you wish to see the styles included in the pack, you’ll have to hunt down the item yourself!
The dress is in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, Hourglass, Ocacin, Voluptuous, and fitmesh in standard sizes for classic avatars.
In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, Bakes on Mesh support is in the latest version of Firestorm. I’m not game to wear an outfit relying on in out in public yet, at least until more people update to the latest viewer, but let’s see an example of how well it works. Here’s an old favorite lingerie set from Carrie’s that is (mostly) system layers, but using BoM, we can now wear it on our mesh bodies!
In these photos, I’m wearing my normal Lara mesh body, with Slink hands and feet. One of the shortcomings of BoM is detail for fingers and toes, so if you have mesh enhancements for hands and feet (obviously Lara comes with both, although I prefer my Slinks for the number of appliers I have) you should keep wearing them.
All the lingerie is system layers, with the exception of the hands and feet which are done with Omega appliers. I’m wearing an undershirt for the bra, a shirt for the corset, underpants for the panties, and gloves and socks for the gloves and stockings. And the skin you are seeing is the system skin (not as you may think, the Omega applied skin on Lara). I hope you didn’t throw all your system skins away!
Currently for Lara, you need a BoM relay to get the bakes on mesh textures onto the body. You can grab the relay from marketplace for free. To use, it’s literally a one click and you’re done. Take off your full body alpha as BoM automatically hides the system body parts you wear a layer for, and wear the system layers you wish. That’s all there is too it!
And you must admit, the results are pretty good. The huge advantage with this is that multiple textures are reduced to just two at most for the body. So for example, if you want to wear a shirt, undershirt, and a tattoo, without BoM that would be potentially three 1024×1024 images you’d have to download to view. With BoM, that’s reduced to a single texture, saving download bandwidth and video memory. Win-win!
If that’s not enough, one of the limitations of mesh bodies was that you could only wear one thing on one layer. For example, you could only wear one tattoo on your upper body. With BoM, you can wear multiple, as the bake server will automagically combine them all for you into a single texture!
So, while you can completely ignore BoM if you like, and continue using appliers, in the right situation, everyone wins with BoM. And of course, you also get all your old system lipsticks back (which I have a ton of!) as BoM will work with mesh heads too!

The onset of Winter is a wonderful time to me, and sometimes the magic swirls around like falling leaves and snowflakes. Kerryth at Spyralle introduced a new pattern for her Silvia dress, and offered a beautiful leafy headpiece that matches perfectly. This looked beautiful enough in my “usual” QuinnPerle skin from Oceane Body Design, but when I tried the Opal Ice skin from Fallen Gods, something really shiny began to take place.
This outfit was just a joy to put together, and there’s just so much here to share with you. I found the beautiful dress and headpiece from Spyralle on a recent trip, then kept finding the perfect things to put together with the outfit. The Nature’s Splendour jewelry from EarthStones was just perfect to carry the maple leaf theme, and the HUD let me select some blue and opalescent textures that carry the theme of the dress, the headdress, and the skin. On top of that, while wandering around Enchantment, I came across the perfect face paint / facial tattoo from Nefekalum Tattoos — the beautiful blue maple leafs! It is almost as if this was destined.
If you’re like me, there’s a lot of chaos to take place before the December holidays.. and those December holidays themselves take on many different forms. But I think that nearly all of them carry the same message — a time of peace, a time of joy, a time of family and friends. I hope that even in the chaos that you may all carry that joy with you throughout the next month.
Have a wonderfully happy week, my friends! A hui hou kākou!
This is a past group gift from Julia’s Scandal that’s been hiding in my messy inventory for a while 🙂
It comes in red too, and in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, eBody, and a one-size-fits-all for classic avatars. Because the lace is transparent in places, you can’t use alphas, and unfortunately it suffers from clipping across the belly in extreme poses (and dances). But as a stand-around-and-chat party dress? It’s very nice!
It appears Julia’s in-world store is closed currently, but this dress is available on her marketplace store, linked to below.

Here’s yet another outfit from the Womenstuff Hunt. There are some fabulous outfits out there for L$0 ot L$1! Run out and find some!
This outfit includes the jumpsuit, the jacket, the shoes, the necklace, and earring (not shown).
The jacket and jumpsuit are in sizes for Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, and standard sizes for classic avatars. The heels fit Maitreya, Slink, and Belleza. The necklace has a resize script, but unfortunately the earrings don’t, and they are huge, and they are no modify. So, if you want to see them, you’ll have to hunt down this outfit yourself!
As I said, I have to love it when the Womenstuff Hunt is on, it makes my looking for outfits to show you soo much easier!
This sweater dress is just my color, and comes in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody Classic and Curvy, Tonic Curvy and Fine, TMP, Hourglass, Physique, and standard sizes for classic avatars. It’s only in this color, but mmm I like it!
Here’s another fabulous outfit from the Womenstuff Hunt. The hunt goes until the end of November, so there’s plenty of time to find all the fantastic hunt items!
This outfit is all separates, with the vest, pullover, scarf, and pants all sized for Lara, Freya, and Hourglass. Another great outfit from a talented designer!
