The telescope in action

If you haven’t visited the SL Sci Fi Con 2019 yet, you are missing out!  There is some absolutely wonderful creations to see, not the least is the landscaping done by the build team!

There’s a hunt, a puzzle involving purple C3PO statues around the event (yes, purple!), live DJs, and more!

Don’t forget to donate what you can to Relay For Life when you visit, it’s a truly worthy cause!  (You can donate by voting for the Blue’s Fantasy booth hehe)

BF Carbon Truss Telescope debuts at the SL Sci Fi Con!

Blue’s Fantasy is very excited to finally debut version 1.0 of the Blue’s Fantasy Carbon Truss Telescope at this year’s Sci Fi Convention!

This telescope, similar to the BF Newtonian Telescope, allows you to view the entire Sloan Digital Sky Survey footprint wholly within Second Life.  You can view (and load) textures in the system for slideshow viewing as well.

Unlike the previous telescope, this scope is equipped with a CCD camera and so comes with a computer system (including monitor, keyboard, mouse, and PC).  You also get the desk and chair to place the system, and sitting at the desk activates the telescope.

But the most impressive thing about this system is that the telescope moves on its mount to realistically point at the part of the sky that you’re viewing!

Drop by the Sci Fi Con and check us out!  30% of all purchases of the telescope via the vendor at the Con will be donated to Relay For Life!

Dreams mini skirt

Further cleanup in my messy inventory turned up this fabulous little mini skirt from Dreams.  It’s a past group gift from them and is still available in store.  The Dreams group is FREE to join.

I’ve shown you the top and boots before.  The mini skirt is in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, Hourglass, and TMP.  It has a 12 color HUD with a selection of colors and lace patterns, and with and without a panel behind the lace.

Damaris

I’m going through my unopened folder cleaning things up, and I realized I haven’t shown all the past group gifts from WellMade yet!

The WellMade group is FREE to join.

I love the pattern on this dress!  If this was available RL, I’d buy it like a shot 🙂  There are fits for Lara, Freya, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Curvy, and Fine, as well as large, medium, and small fitmesh for classic avatars.

There is also a three color HUD, the other two colors are pink and blue.

Lara

Oops, I’ve been meaning to show you this gown for a while, but things have got in the way.

Right at the end of the Fantasy Faire that Aeon covered so wonderfully, Eden had a medieval event.  While I had some appropriate gowns and other clothes, I thought with FF on, I’d run and have a look to see if I could find something new I’d like.  The first store I ran into was Secrets of Gaia, and I thought I’d find something there, only to look around and not immediately see anything.  Oh, am I glad I decided to look upstairs before I moved on, or I would have missed this gown!

The gown is in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Ocacin, Curvy, Fine, Hourglass, and Physique.  Obviously, the Faire is over, but the gowns are available in Secrets of Gaia’s in-world store for L$200 each color, and there are 15 to choose from.

River daughter

Aloha kakahiaka kākou!  Good morning everyone!  Welcome to a new week!  I have a lovely new gown and bolero to show you from Silvan Moon Designs — the lovely River Daughter, available now at We Love Role Play.

River Daughter features a one-sleeved asymmetric bolero jacket similar to the Pandora gown that I blogged earlier.  River Daughter has a glove on the off-hand side.  I really like this look, there’s something about the asymmetry of skin that accentuates both the skin and the fabrics of the gown.

My dear friend Ariel lent me the most wonderful necklace from The Looking Glass. Dragons is in the Antique Necklaces gacha, and has a menu-driven texture hud to change metals and gem colours.  It’s perfect with this gown!

I always love shopping at We Love Role Play.  It’s a lovely monthly event that has so many nice little treasures to find.  Not so big as to take forever, but large enough, with enough of the strong creators to be something to look forward to.

Mahalo!  A hui hou!
