More Kemono freebies, again

While looking through marketplace for more kemono things, I came across this FREE mod.  The creator says it’s retired, so there is no support, but the mod is available in half a dozen colors, all for FREE, so even without support, it’s a great basis for a new look.

The mod includes the head and body skin, the ears, the tail, the eyes, and the hair!  The hair has some level of detail issues at a distance, but up close, it’s really cute.  Well, the entire look is really cute 🙂

Cleopatra

Among the fun things I get to do in Second Life is be a DJ for Sisters of Eden, a wonderful women’s club. On my weekly gigs I like to always have a theme and build a set decoration, as well as dress appropriately. Today I did a Sands of Egypt theme, and so of course had to do another mix and match (maxing out my attachments *again*).

I’m standing just inside the entrance to a grand pyramid, with steps leading down into the inner depths, where the dance floor awaits!

Is that the bell I hear tolling? Is it tolling for me? Eeeeeek!

Winter warmers

Hello lovelies, today I’m wearing an old outfit so I can show off these amazing shoes and legwarmers!

The short sweater dress partners nicely with some tights.  The dress is only in standard mesh sizes, and the tights come on system layers and have Maitreya and Slink appliers.

But the highlight of the show are these simply wonderful shoes and legwarmers from Sweet E’s.  I got them way back in July as a MM board prize (I think).  They have versions to fit classic, and fitmesh for classic, Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink bodies.  The detailing on them is superb, and it’s just a shame I have to wait for the cold weather to wear them lol

A Murder of Crows

November is drawing to a close, but We Love Role Play yet has nearly a week left.  Silvan Moon Designs offers A Murder of Crows this month, a beautiful bustled gown that might be just as at home in Victorian England or in a frontier town in the American Wild West.

The remarkable hat is included in A Murder of Crows.  I don’t know that I’d dance in it, but it’s perfect finery for the era.

Wow what a bustle to this gown.  Baby got back?

I really love this outfit, I think it might well serve as a fantastic base for a great steampunk outfit.  I’ll have to get back to you on that one!

Run over to We Love Role Play before time runs out!  Mahalo!  A hui hou kākou!

Starry Starry Night

The stars are out! Well I feel like a star anyway, in this cute confection I concocted. The central part of the outfit is the Kokoro Symphony dress by V-Tech, a gothic lolita style accented with lace. The perfect match for it was the Kawaii Doll Boots from Candy Kitten.

Kokoro Symphony comes in eleven single colors as well as a fat pack, while the Kawaii Doll boots include twelve colors that can be mixed and matched among the heels, laces, bows and trims, and socks (or no socks).

I supplemented the main items with full perm ribbons colored to match, along with lace applier gloves, and some cute neck accessories.

From the back, one defining feature of the Symphony dress is this huuuuge ribbon with the shiny heart! There is a matching ‘necklace’ with ribbon to go down one’s back but alas it does not really fit one’s neck terribly well, even when resized. So instead I turned it into a hair accessory! Which I think actually works much better. 🙂

Are you ready to fly away with me, my friends? Cheers!

Winter Queen 2018

For the start of each season at Eden, we select a seasonal queen, and today was the big party to celebrate the beginning of winter.  I know we’re not really in winter yet, but the pressures of the DJ schedule, she says, handwaving frantically 🙂

This is what I wore.

The outfit includes the ears, horns, hooves, tail, top, flowers, and a tattoo layer for the upper legs and the rest of the body.  If you want to wear it with Lara like I’m doing here, you can get a separate kit with the appliers for all versions of this faun.

The top is just standard sized mesh.  All the other parts except the legs are mod so you can resize and reposition to fit.  Included with the applier kit is a helpful notecard giving you shape settings to make the legs fit Lara.

It’s a super cute outfit, although the leg transition could be just a little better, but as the entire outfit is only L$70 (plus L$50 for the applier kit) you really can’t complain.

Adele

Today I’m showing you a hunt item from Womenstuff.  The hunt is still on until the end of November, so you still have some time to find some wonderful outfits for next to nothing!

This lovely ruffled dress is from Glitter, and is in sizes for Lara, TMP, Physique, Hourglass, Isis, and Venus.

And oh dear, from the above photo, you can see I was retouching my hair in this.  I really love this hairstyle and usually it’s just wonderful.  It also suits the pose in the photo above to a “T”.  And of course it’s only in this pose that it clips lol.  I only noticed I forgot to delete the color swatches after I uploaded the photo, and my choices were brush them out, or re-shoot.  Then I thought, no, I’ll leave them in so you can have a laugh at me 🙂

I generally don’t tell you when I retouch.  Nearly all mesh clothing that I do it for is perfectly fine walking around, and it’s only in modeling poses that it has problems.  But now I’ve been caught red-handed, I might see if I can show you some techniques in a future tutorial…

Lily

Hello lovelies, here’s a nice little top and skirt that was a free gift (I think hehe) recently.

The outfit includes fits for Lara, eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, and Physique.  The lace detailing is really pretty!

Thai

Here’s a fabulous new group gift from Asteria.  Their group is FREE to join!

Once you join the group, you can pick up this excellent bodysuit in eight different colors.  I’m sporting the moss version as I love dark green things 🙂  The sizing is only for Lara, Freya, Venus, and Isis.

The package includes a HUD to change the material from the solid shown here to fishnet or lace, both of which are super sexy.  The HUD also allows you to change the metal detail at the back.

A very generous gift from Asteria!

Lace Iris

My goodness, winter may be coming, but dresses are getting short!

This little thing surely is taken from a rack that one of our friends Jac would pick from, and if she did even then it would be hardly there at all lol.

The dress is in sizes for Lara and all major mesh bods, and you better find underwear for it before you step out!
