Xena

Hello lovelies!  We are back on the lingerie trail today with an absolutely wonderful group gift from Julia’s Scandal!

Julia’s group is FREE to join and there are a ton of past group gifts available.

This elegant set consists of a separate bra, panty, and garter belt.  All three pieces come in sizes for Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Hourglass, Physique, Curvy, and Fine.  There is also a six color HUD included that lets you set the color of each item separately.

The garter belt certainly cried out for some stocking to hold up, so I added some from Blueberry.  These are for Lara, and I don’t seem to have the original box, so I’m unsure of other sizes.  They also come with a HUD allowing you to select from nearly thirty colors!  Shoes and a bow choker complete the look.

I haven’t listed my skin and eyes for a while, so here they are:

  • Skin: Adore Peach by Lumae
  • Eyes: Deep Sky Eyes (Spring Moss) by Mayfly

Twilight Dreams

Aloha, my friends, I hope that you are having a wonderful Monday!  Normally I don’t like to split up different textures of the same clothing item into different days — it kind of feels like cheating — but I had to do a follow-up post on Spyralle‘s Sybil.  The very day after I published my previous post on Sybil, Kerryth introduced one additional texture that I just had to have — the lovely Twilight.

Kerryth’s textures are always lovely, but I really love the glyphs on this one more than anything — I see a Moon and stars and dancers.  Could there be anything more me?

I’ve paired this with the beautiful The Moon and Stars for you necklace and earrings from Maxi Gossamer — just to match the lovely glyphs.

My friends, Spoonful of Sugar will be over before you know it.  Stop by, find some lovely things, and help out MSF.

Mahalo!  A hui hou kakou!

Autumn Faerie

I go to a lot of events and often discover someone new (for me) with just the right thing. The Leaves of Time faerie outfit by Trinity is a delightful set of… well, leaves! But it exudes just the right air of happy (and sexy) fae-ness. The set includes the top, bottom, arm vines, and leg vines, along with a bonus shirt that covers a little bit more that shown here.

Leaves of Time comes with an eight color HUD of various fall colors, and each of the parts of the outfit can be colored separately. I found the set provides the perfect foundation for adding in lots of fun detail items with an autumn motif.

Come dance through the forest with me, dear friends! Cheers!

Cheetah mod

A while ago, I did some pro photography for Catseye store owner Catty.  She gave me a gift card in appreciation.  At the time, I had no intention of getting a Kemono, but after I did, I remembered that Aeon had the gift card, and asked her if there was any credit left on it, as Catty does some Kemono mods!

This is her cheetah mod (yes, the card had just enough credit hehe)

Catty usually gives you a lot of options with her creations, and this is no exception.  You have appliers for the Kemono head in the standard look (shown) or a girly look which has pink lippie instead of black.  There are appliers for the M3 Anime head, the M3 Venus head, and appliers for female, male, and femboy looks for the Kemono body.

Also included are the ears, and two versions of the tail – a flexi version (shown) and a rigged version that’s wrapped around your leg, which is perfect for dancing when you don’t want to whack you partner with your tail all night long lol!

The skin is really nicely done.  In the pic above, you can see the contrast between the inner and outer legs, and that extends to the feet and hands too, which you can see below.  A wonderful piece of work from Catty!

  • Top: Leather Top by CLBlue (this was a group gift and the group is FREE to join)
  • Shorts: Leather Shorts by CLBlue
  • Body: Kemono by Utilizator
  • Busty mod: Fitted Kemno Torso by Starbright
  • Cheetah mod: “Cheetah Neko” ~ Natural ~ by Catseye

Skellybones

Hallowe’en is one of the busiest times for SL parties.  Eden will be no exception this year, and I’m sure we’ll do at least two themed parties – a funny one and a scary one.

This dress is a group gift from Safira, and I’ll bet it gets a run at one of the parties 🙂  The Safira group is FREE to join, and there are a number of past group gifts available.  The dress comes in fitmesh sizes for Lara and Hourglass only.

It also has a HUD to switch the skeleton from stark white (shown) to just the barest outlines.  It also lets you switch the skirt between black and white lace.  A really fun outfit that I’m guessing will be a hit where ever I wear it!

  • Outfit: Skully Dress by Safira
  • Body: Lara by Maitreya
  • Face: Jennifer by GA.EG
  • Hands: Slink Dynamic
  • Boots: Laced-Top Leather Boots, Nude (Fameshed Gift) by NYU
  • Hair: Chahong by Monso

Gothic lace

The Stuff Group (as in Womenstuff, Menstuff, etc) have a sim wide hunt on at the moment with a Hallowe’en theme.  This dress is one of the hunt items!

This fit is Maitreya Experimental, which I assume means the creator is not licensed from Maitreya, but they seem to have got the rigging pretty spot on anyway.  Other fits are Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, and Physique.  The dress also comes with a seven color HUD for the solid fabric (the lace is always black).

I added a bunch of decoration to get the look detailed below.  Just a warning, do not buy the ear to nose chain unless you are an accomplished builder.  It’s made from micro-prims and you will have to edit them to get them to fit your face.  This is super frustrating unless you have plenty of experience using the build tools (it’s frustrating even if you have experience 🙂 )

Fantasy Flair

Sometimes you find outfits that are simply gorgeous but are not necessarily practical to wear out and about. Such is the case with my two offerings here from Moon Amore, the Midnight Illusion Cinderella gown and the Angelic Souls gothic lolita outfit. Both feature stunning designs that appear to float on the wind, making for some stunning pictures. Alas, as they are static mesh pieces, they also do not actually float and thus bounce around as you stand with your AO on or when walking. But they look pretty! And thus I had to take some pictures with them for you. 🙂

The Midnight Illusion gown comes in five colors, in a single mesh size, so one needs to play around a bit to make sure it will fit. I was able to successfully fit it to my Maitreya body. And of course I am waiting here for my true love to cross the bridge to me…

  • Dress: Midnight Illusion Gown by Moon Amore
  • Gloves: Long Bento Gloves by L’Emporio in 30 colors
  • Jewelry: Leah earrings and Betsy necklace by Avaway,  Magic necklace by Swallow
  • Hair: Mayumi3 by D!va
  • Pose: The Bella Series – Three by An Lar

The Angelic Souls outfit looks just the thing for the damsel dashing through the magic forest! Available in two colors (white and black) for Maitreya.

  • Dress: Angelic Souls by Moon Amore
  • Boots: Candy Lolita by Candy Kitten
  • Earrings: Lollipop Guild by Violet Voltaire  (Marketplace link)
  • Hair: Haruka by Argrace (sadly no longer available, as Argrace has retired nearly all of their hair)
  • Pose: Sexy 06 by Aeon Animations  (Marketplace link)

Ready for a little fantasy in your day my friends? Cheers!

OK, Autumn

Enough with the beach photos already Blue!  It’s Autumn!

I do lots of hunts looking for outfits to show you lovely readers.  A lot of hunts are themed, and you know, after I get around to photographing half a dozen items, and other other distractions (squirrel!), sometimes, you come to photograph the rest and realize that the theme is no longer valid for the time of year.  That’s what happened to me with the Womenstuff Hunt way back in January.  Most of the items in that were fall/winter fashions, and I found myself in the middle of spring when I got around to photographing them.

Well, now it’s autumn again, I can show you a few, even though some may not be available in-world or on marketplace.  At least you can see some of the beautiful clothes you can find on hunts if you just have a little patience and practice with your camera controls.

This sweater and mini skirt combination is for Lara only.  It’s all one piece which is a pity, as the sweater looks good enough to wear over jeans.  And of course, let’s wear some thigh boots to keep our legs warm!

On the run

The Sisters of Eden recently had a cyberpunk-themed party (DJd by our very own Jaz) and I had a lot of fun putting together an outfit that I really wanted to share with you.  This really was a fun outfit, as I assembled it from a variety of bits and pieces!

  • :::SOLE::: — Shinkan glasses (unrigged mesh) (Marketplace link)
  • :::SOLE::: — Luna Headset (unrigged mesh) (Marketplace link)
  • Profectus — Time Brace
  • Xtra OrdinaryDragonsuit Top applier and collar from Sith Lady costume  (Maitreya/Physique/Hourglass/Freya/Isis/Venus fitmesh, Omega/Maitreya appliers)
  • Xtra Ordinary — Coat from Underworld Deathdealer full costume  (Maitreya/Physique/Hourglass/Freya/Isis/Venus fitmesh, Omega/Maitreya appliers)
  • Xtra Ordinary — Combat belt from Black Widow full costume  (Maitreya/Physique/Hourglass/Freya/Isis/Venus fitmesh, Omega/Maitreya appliers)
  • [The Forge] — Cypher pants (Oil) (Gacha) (Marketplace Link)
  • Silvan Moon Designs  —  Bento Gloves, exclusive for Fallen Gods Decennial
  • GRAVES — G322 Combat Boots (unrigged mesh)
  • BAXE — Miss China – Gala 2018

I didn’t want to go all Tron-glowy, but cyberpunk does require some supporting gadgets!  I found just the right things at :::Sole:::.  I’m wearing two separate pieces here,  the Luna headset and the Shinkan glasses.  Both have huds for texture and glow, and both are unrigged mesh – so they’re resizable!

The boots were a tricky find — I wanted something that buckled and looked meant for action — not silly oversexed high-heel boots.  But I also needed something that could accommodate the mesh leggings without having surface conflicts (‘peek-through’). Graves’ Combat Boots are just right — with male and female versions so it’s not just a genderless muck boot.

I’m always reminded how much fun it is to assemble an outfit from bits and pieces.  I totally love playing with a role-playing costume like this!

Mahalo, my friends!  A hui hou kākou!
