To seek out new life, and new civilisations…

I’m so happy to announce that I’m now an official blogger for Eclectic Stars!  Jadziyah has a wonderful sense of style for all the nerds out there of every stripe!   Let me share with you a great example of her work — Shifty — and maybe stir up a little controversy!

Rowena Springlower’s Tanith boot is the perfect fit to complement this outfit, and comes with a fantastic colour HUD!

Hmmm… now, how did that happen?  Let me check my code….

As you might expect, Shifty is available in three colours: blue, red, and gold for science, engineering, and command.  Hmm, tricorders have gotten smaller over the years… who could have guessed?

Wait, what controversy?  Jadziyah named each outfit for the colour scheme on the new series – where command is red and engineering is gold.  In the original 1966 series, gold was for command, and red for engineering and security!  I’ve seen angry fights break out over this that make some sporting rivalries look tame!  And yes, blue was science in all series.

Whichever side of the controversy you’re on, you’ll love Shifty.  It’s available in fitmesh for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink Physique bodies, as well as the standard five mesh sizes.    Beam on over to Eclectic Stars and see what other fab things there are for you to find!

Mahalo!  A hui hou!

I dream of shimmer

These harem style pants and top are from an old group gift by Paisley Daisy from last year.  I don’t know how I missed photographing then, but better late than never 🙂

It only comes in standard rigged mesh, and I’m wearing on system here with it’s associated alpha.   It’s heavily materials enabled and glitters and shimmers nicely, hence the name 🙂

Another outfit from the Boho Fair, this shorts and top set comes from KiB Designs.

There are three set of shorts and matching tops, all the same mesh but with different textures, and they’re specific fitmesh for Slink, Maitreya, and Belleza only.  I’m seeing more designers do this (leave out standard rigged mesh) but I think it would be nice if they did a fitmesh version for the system avi if they are going to do so.  Else they are limiting their market.
