Blueberry

Recently, Blueberry did a huge store renovation.  When they reopened, they celebrated by handing out a L$350 gift card to all their members.  This is sneaky marketing tactics, as a lot of their stuff costs L$250 per piece, so to get two matching pieces, you have to add a few Lindens of your own 🙂

Well, you can’t take it with you, as the saying goes, so here’s what my gift card and a few Lindens got me!

And, I’ll model this on my new tawny cat, just because I can 🙂

The outfit is two separate pieces, the top and the shorty overalls.  Both are sized for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, and Physique.  There are a ton of colors to chose from, or you can splurge and get the fat or mega packs.  The individual pieces are L$250 each.

This is the newest group gift at Blueberry, and the group is FREE to join.  A puffer jacket at the beginning of Spring?  Just as well you can wear the dress by itself 🙂

The top, skirt with panties, and belt are all separate items.  Each of them comes sized for Lara, Freya, Venus, Isis, Physique, Hourglass, and a one-size-fits-all for classic avatars.  This seems to only be available as a fatpack, and comes with a massive HUD with numerous options to change the top, top fringes, and seashells, the skirt denim, panties, and buttons, and the belt and beads, all separately!

For L$375 (which is 50% off) it’s a fantastic buy and as usual from Blueberry, the quality is excellent!

You know my like for bodysuits, so it’s no surprise that my other purchase with Blueberry’s gift card was this fab little suit 🙂

It comes in size for Lara, Isis, Freya, Venus, Physique, and Hourglass.  There’s a HUD with metal options for the arm buttons.  The detailing on this is superb, with the hood, fabric wrinkles, and the arm closures.

There’s also a tucked-in version to go under your favorite jeans or shorts.  It’s made specifically for the shorts next to it in-store, but if you play around, I’ll bet you can find something that you can wear it with!

Just in case you’ve been hiding under a rock, Blueberry gave away a L$250 gift card just recently to their members in group notices.  Here’s the first thing I bought with mine 🙂

This whimsical dress is really nice, and I love the pattern for the season too.  It comes in fits for Lara, Venus, Isis, Freya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP.  Each separate color is L$99 (although this might be still at the sale price, but it’s what I got it for).  There’s also a fatpack available for L$649 with all the colors and some bonuses too.

Also included is a HUD to control the colors of both upper lower wings sections, with 19 choices.  You can also change the color of the built-in panties, with 17 colors to pick from, and you can hide them if you want to wear your own.

Ohhh wow, I was cleaning up my inventory and I came across Blueberry’s 7th birthday card gift to her group members!  I’d forgotten I hadn’t used mine.  A L$250 gift card to Blueberry always requires some thought, there are so many nice things!

This’s what I selected.

The outfit is two separate purchases from the store, each for L$125.  Both the leggings and the jacket/top combo are available in a variety of colors, or you can buy the fatpacks for around L$650 each (30+ colors if you can afford it).

The legging color I chose is called “Cloud”, and it comes with a nine color HUD that lets you change the metal of the zips.  It also lets you change the *ahem* bottom fit of the leggings to be loose like I’m wearing here, or ultra skin tight.  Blueberry calls these CutieBootie and BlueberryBooty on the HUD 🙂

There are two lengths available too, one for sandals or ankle boots, and a length for wearing under boots of any substantial length.  Very thoughtful!

The jacket and top is a single piece, but you can remove the top via the extensive HUD.  With the one color buy, you get a HUD that lets you set the color of the shirt to one of 31 plain colors.  There are also four slogans you can add, each in eight fairly neutral tones so they should go with anything.  The one I’m wearing says “Dream big and make it happen”.  A sentiment I totally agree with!

Similar to the leggings, you can set the metal of the zippers to one of nine colors, and there are three styles for the top: short if you want to show a bit of midriff, long (shown), and loose which gives you just a little more room at the top of the hip.

Both pieces come in sizes for Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, and Hourglass.  And of course, they were designed to go together, so there is no clipping or other weird clothing intersections!  Yay!

During SLB16, I told you about Blueberry’s gifts, and the offer of a L$250 gift card for members.  I finally got around to using my card today and picked up these awesome denim shorts!
