Aloha kākou!  I’m so sorry I’ve been away and sporadic, hopefully things will get back to normal here over the next week!   Like many of you, I enjoyed the big extravaganza of SL15, and picked up my store credit to Blueberry.  I found something just perfect — the DWL Classic jeans!

The fatpack for these jeans is totally worth it.  There’s a thirteen colour HUD plus exclusive patterns (I love the boho pattern shown — it matches my foil tattoos from Alaska Metro!), and three different jeans cuts – skinny, classic, and boot cut.

The belt from Bellydance Goddess is resizable, and just the perfect addition to this lovely little outfit.

I probably don’t need to tell you, Blueberry is just so hard to beat for quality mesh!

A little Friday festival

For your Friday pleasure (or Saturday morning to my lovely friends on the other side of the dateline), a little group gift from Petite Mort.  Festival is a beautiful maxi-skirt and bandeau top in five mesh sizes.

Now, Petite Mort currently has nine past group gifts back up on the wall, Festival included.  I don’t know how long they’ll be up, but stop by and take a look, and peruse the rest of the bohemian fashion offered in the store!  In the meantime, I’ll show you another one or two of those gifts in the next week or so.

A little mix-and-match

One of the things that I don’t do enough of is a bit of mix-and-match.  Sure, swapping jewelry around is one thing but I confess that I don’t do enough mixing of separates.  But it is a lot of fun when you find interesting combinations that work!

I was considering an outfit for the monthly bellydance-themed party at Eden recently, and fell in love with this skirt from Bellydance Goddess.   Add a belt, and some beautiful bangles, and what for a top?  Would you believe the top from Spyralle‘s Heliconia Opal?  You bet!

A Shimmer of Emerald

I may have found a new love in bellydance!  Bellydance Goddess ensnared me this week with the new Raks Egyptian line.  Raks features appliers for the arms, top, and leggings, and wonderful prim ruffled skirt pieces.

Raks comes in 15 beautiful colours, and if you run over to Bellydance Goddess soon, you will find that Aqeelah has left us a gift surprise: one of the colours is free as a gift!  I won’t say which one, but I’ll tell you that it inspired me so that I had to go and get the emerald that I’m showing you here today.

You may remember when I featured Bellydance Goddess‘ Pure last week that I mentioned that I had to go practice my bellydance.  Unlike normal photo poses, I took these while dancing on bellydances from Abranimations.  The motion capture animations are truly impressive!  You can see a few more images on my flickr page. I had a hard time choosing which ones to feature here.

Pure Goddess

No, not me!  But Bellydance Goddess offers the lovely Pure as a group gift right now.  And it is divine!

Pure comes with both a thong and a hip wrap appliers.  The wrap is definitely its own form of sexy!

Pure comes with Omega appliers for the top, thong and waist wrap, and mesh accoutrements (belt, headpiece, chestpiece, bangles). The mesh belt includes the silks and comes with a resize script, although it can be tricky to fit just right to your hips!  Pure also includes bracelets which are not resizable, unfortunately, and were way too big for this girl.  Fortunately, I had a lovely set of bangles that were perfectly appropriate from the lovely Aditi saree from RaMp, and those together with some anklets from Cazimi rounded out this lovely outfit!
