Flamingo

OK, you know me and pink, not this redhead’s favourite colour.  But this is too well made a dress to not post, so out comes the dye bottle 🙂

This really well textured dress coming in standard rigged size, plus fitmesh for classic, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink.  Can I say again, the texturing is just wonderful!

Sarin’s light

Fantasy Faire 2017 is drawing toward its end, and you don’t want to miss this beautiful exclusive from Silvan Moon Designs.  The Light of Sarin is an extraordinary mesh gown in five stunning colours.

Light of Sarin comes in the five standard rigged mesh sizes, plus fitmesh for Maitreya Lara and SLink Physique.  Gown, overskirt, belt and sleeves are all independently selectable.

Please help support Relay for Life, visit the Fantasy Faire and check out Light of Sarin and all the other beautiful things there are to see.  The Faire itself is fun to explore, take a little time this weekend and enjoy!

Sileny

Alice Project are a marvelously generous creator of hairstyles.  They always have a Midnight Mania board and lucky letter boards on the go with sometimes some of their latest hairstyles up for grabs.  They’ve been very good to me over the last couple of years, and while their red is not exactly my favourite, it looks pretty fab, with or without some streaks 🙂

This is the base red with orange streaks, but the hair has a basic ten color HUD that you can apply as base color or use for streaks.  The HUD with this one is called “Lucky Colors” and has red, orange, yellow, green. teal, blue, indigo, violet, purple, and pink!

This style comes in two pieces in four rigged sizes, the base, and the front bangs, and has four alphas to hide your head if it pokes though.

Faerie of the star

A sweet friend gave me the title Faerie of the Star a long time back… and it is silly and fun and something I treasure.  And Kerryth at Spyralle has created an outfit that matches that title: the lovely Starseeker, exclusive for Fantasy Faire 2017!

This fae may not have typical wings, but her heart and soul soars in a shower of stars.  Starseeker includes a full-body-and-face tattoo (System and Omega appliers) with a set of flexi drape pieces and mesh arm vanes and headpiece/crown.   The Crown and armpieces are included with Starseeker, but are also available as a separate package.

The headpiece is a beautiful work of art.  Star-particles twinkle between the wings, and shower softly from either side.  Both side and centre effects may be turned on or off separately.  The arm vanes likewise issue a gentle shower of stars and may also be turned off as desired.  Little invisible star trails (particle generators) may be added to each hand.

If that weren’t enough, Spyralle has collaborated with Tai’Dyed to include a beautiful matching version of the Nebula dance attachments.  This is a set of 22 flexi attachments that swirl about you as you move.  The effect is stunning and must be seen to be believed!  You can pick and choose from the 22 included attachments to achieve the right look for you – or run out your maximum allowed attachments!

This outfit was made for dancing, and is absolutely gorgeous in low light.  It may be my favourite creation from Kerryth and Spyralle yet.  What’s best is that 100% of the proceeds from these items go to Relay for Life.  You can support The American Cancer Society and shine as a star at the same time!

I’ve left one more image with the dancing whisps for you on my flickr page.  It’s my favourite, and a little present for you.

Thank you so much for following us, I love bringing you some of the treasures of SecondLife!

Iris by D!va

Finally, as promised, here’s a post about this amazingly versatile hairstyle from D!va.  This was a gift from D!va on the event of their 6th year in operation in SL.  And it’s awesome.  First up, the hair has a thirteen color HUD, which is generous enough for a gift.  But the most amazing thing about this hairstyle is it’s many hairstyles in one.  First, we have the main updo…

…and then we can add at the back…

…and at the front…

…or braids too? Wow!

And included in the HUD, you can add a braid of hair across your forehead, and some lovely daisies on both sides, and pick the flower colors from nine different ones!

Of course, you can mix and match the pieces to achieve many looks.  This is one cleverly designed hairstyle!

Spirited

Solas and Bee at Silvan Moon Designs have a wonderful treat for you at Shiny Shabby!  Spirit Maiden is a lovely two-part mesh gown (gown and overskirt) for SLink Physique and Maitreya Lara in five wonderful colours!

I really love this necklace.  Crescent Moon from Caverna Obscura features a little bling spot, but I’ll admit that I’m not crazy about bling.  Fortunately, the necklace is mod, so I could go in, edit linked, find the bling and remove it.  Perfect!

Spirit Maiden is available in five lovely shades but ONLY for Lara and Physique mesh bodies.  SL fashion definitely seems to be favouring these two bodies!  Stop by Shiny Shabby, pick up a demo, and give it a test drive!

Legion

Before running out to the gym, I managed to get this quick series of photos done for you 🙂

The track suit is all one piece and comes with fitmesh sizes for classic, Lara, Belleza, and Slink.

My workout shoes match well with this!

November Rain

Here’s a lovely little party dress from Entice, which was a gift from their public MM board.

The dress is in standard sizes, plus a one-size-fits-all fitmesh, and comes with a three color HUD for the dress, and three additional colors for the rings.  There are other texture options available at the store.

There’s just something about tractors

One more set of goodies from Petite Mort‘s in-store Easter egg hunt!  I’m not usually a “shorts” kind of girl in-world, but these are just too much fun!

All of Petite Mort‘s hunt items are fitmesh for Maitreya Lara, SLink Physique and Hourglass, and Belleeza Freya, Isis, and Venus mesh bodies.

Any later in the season and sitting on that sheet metal might be too hot to handle!  But don’t you wait any longer, hidden eggs don’t stay good forever!  (important safety tip)

Please visit Petite Mort before this hunt is over, and check out all the lovelies there for you!  Mahalo!  A hui hou!

Easter Gift from Paris Metro

I don’t often get an occasion to wear a gown any more.  We used to have a classical music event at Eden once a week that gave us an excuse to get dressed up, but unfortunately the DJ had RL commitments that forced her to stop doing it.  Such a shame, but RL comes first.

For Easter, Paris Metro gifted all their members with this lovely floral gown!  So rather than put it in the back of my wardrobe, I photographed it for you!

It’s old style flexi prim and appliers/system layers, with a mesh panel to complete the dress, so the complexity is a little high.  With everything I’m wearing, the complexity is around 124K, so it’s not completely out of the question to wear to an event.  The gown also comes with a hat which I’ve chosen not to wear.

My hairstyle is from D!va, and is reminding me that I haven’t done a feature post on this hairstyle yet.  It’s extremely versatile!  I’m making note to do it, I promise 🙂
